IOC is seeking an Individual Consultant to support activities for Ocean Decade Implementation Phase – ‘Decade Coordination Office Lead – Ocean Data Sharing’.
IOC as the agency tasked with coordinating the Ocean Decade programme, is now looking for a consultant to fill the role of ‘Decade Coordination Office Lead’ with a specific focus on coordinating and supporting Decade Actions that aim to transform data management and sharing within the Ocean Decade, and to engage new partners in the aim of implementing the Decade’s data and information strategy and leave a lasting legacy. As you may recall the IOC Project Office for IODE applied successfully to host this DCO and we now need to start its activities.
The position is an 11-month consultancy with possibility of renewal and will be home based. The position can be carried out remotely, although some travel will be required.
